I am drawn to the color white because it makes everything appear clean cut. The whiteout is the white clothing in my closet. When I see white, the image of pure, heavenly, regal, sweet, classy and wholesome suddenly pop into my mind. A staple color for your wardrobe is white, ladies.

Homework time: next time you're shopping for a particular outfit, if the outfit comes in white, please try it on. You will be pleasantly surprised at how refreshing you look. White is also a fun color to accessorize. White is such a fun and cool color — no wonder so many people love throwing and attending “all white parties”. I attended a few and the sea of outfits and how it's beautifully arranged is breathtaking. Red light: please do not be that person at an all white party wearing a different color. It comes off tacky and rude to the host of the event.

I have a variety of day dresses in white. If the item comes in white, I gravitate towards it like a moth to a flame. I love seeing how many different looks you can get out of one white piece. I live in Florida, so it's easy for us to get away with a lot of fashion faux pas. Now that that's inserted in, us Floridians don't really have a set season for wearing anything. As soon as the weather drops to 65 degrees, we’re coming out of the house with Ugg boots and a sweater.

I love wearing my white sundress that comes down to the knee with a pair of cowgirl boots. If you have a cowgirl hat, the outfit will go to another level. This look can be equally paired with sandals or tennis shoes, and the beauty of it is, the color of the shoes does not have to be white.

I'm also a “wedgie” — meaning a lover of wedge shoes. A wedge heel can be worn as casual or it can spice up an outfit to appear dressier. Since I'm 5’6”, long maxi sundresses are perfect since they tend to be for the people vertically blessed. The length will need to be paired with a high heel or wedges, unless you have the helm altered, otherwise it will look unflattering to see the dress sweep across the floor. The same accessories can be used with this dress style, although I also like adding chunky bangles.

A white pair of pants/jeans are another wardrobe staple. If you're petite or have a smaller derrière, this look is perfect for you. I love seeing a petite person wearing white. They remind me of Thumbelina. The color white on someone with a small derrière will give the illusion of J-Lo’s hinny. When you put on a white pantsuit, you have just elevated your apparel to the gods. You will float on by people as if you are Alexis Carrington from Dynasty, minus the shoulder pads.
