In my opinion, tulle has always been seen as an ultra-feminine, whimsical fabric. I thought tulle could only be worn to weddings as the bride’s or bridesmaids’ dresses. But… I was wrong! Now, I like incorporating tulle in everyday outfits. Tulle can easily be dressed up or casually worn. The dressy effect is created by the accessories, shoes, and top. I choose to go the in-between look when styling an ensemble that involves this fabric.
The denim shirt brought the casual effect to the overall look. While pairing the black tulle skirt with black heels made the outfit appropriate for a girls’ night outfit and date night glam without it being too dressy. When creating your tulle skirt outfit, keep in mind that the focal piece is the skirt; it is dramatic by itself. So, hit the volume button on your styling either: you can either go up or down.
