Staycation Adventure: Exploring Orlando's Cabana Bay Beach Resort

As a Floridian, I have the pick of the litter when it comes to staycation hotels. The Bear Family is always up for a new adventure in our city of Orlando. One of my Orlando bucket list hotels is the Cabana Bay Resort. Yes, I do have a bucket list of hotels!

So, what can you expect from one of Universal Studios' hotels? Well, a meticulously planned, themed experience! Step back in time to the retro 1950s era. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by classic cars. Since I’m not a car person, all I can say is that they’re very old-fashioned. The grounds were spectacular, boasting two large pools. One even had a water slide, which was perfect for the kids. We had plans to check out Volcano Bay water park but changed our minds when we noticed the kids having a splendid time at the pool.

The rooms were decked out in the hotel's retro theme. I really enjoyed the spacious suite we stayed in since our family of five needs room. There was a separate living area and kitchenette, which made our stay even more comfortable.

I can now check off the Cabana Bay Resort from my bucket list. This was a fun, family-filled hotel where you don’t even have to leave the grounds!
